What Wide Angle Lens Should I get|Nikon users help me

So, I am pleased to say that soon I will be upgrading to the D700 camera, I am beyond excited.  Since I am jumping to full frame, I will not be able to use my trusty Nikon 35mm 1.8 AF-S lens because it is for crop sensor cameras.  I would for sure love to get the 35mm 1.4 but I just cant swing it, so do any other Nikon shooters have a suggestion for something in the 35mm range that works great?  I am not opposed to using Sigma or something similar.  I have been in love with the 35 and I am going to need something similar when I upgrade.  Even though I do realize that now my 50mm is going to be about the same that my 35mm was since I am going full frame, woohoo.  I would really appreciate any suggestions.

    I really want to get the 35 1.4 too but they have been backordered for months. Right now I am just using my 24-70mm to get wider shots. There is an older 35 2.0 lens that you might want to check out.

    Go with the 50mm. Better yet, go for the 1.4. I’ve been in love since I got it. 🙂
