You have no idea how excited I am to share this Wedding In Nipton CA. This is more of a boho elopement styled shoot, then an actual wedding. We wanted to showcase this location and the great options that make it a perfect wedding or elopement venue close to Las Vegas.

Lets talk about Nipton. I had heard about this town, about 50 minutes from downtown Las Vegas, recently. I was very intrigued by what I saw and the fact that it is an actual cannabis friendly town. I was heading past it with a fellow wedding vendor, Angie with Peachy Keen Unions, and we had discussed doing something out there. We made a pit stop to check it out and fell in love.

Nipton is such a cool town. It is very small and was recently purchased by a cannabis company. They have a general store that sells lottery tickets and cool souvenirs and snacks. They also have a bar/cafe with beer and food. There are several tee-pees on the grounds that they rent out. There are some other accommodations as well as a hotel, named Hotel California of course.

All around the tee-pees, you are surrounded by an 80 acre outdoor art gallery with lots of amazing pieces. Many of the art pieces are from burning man.

Upon first sight, we both fell in love with the town. We teamed up with Emily from Desert Elopements and planned two styled shoots. One, with a traditional boho style couple. Next, we did a cannabis couple. This shoot is the boho traditional style shoot. Even if you are not into cannabis, you will love Nipton.

The style for the shoot was a picnic setup in front of the teepee. A bar cart had treats as well as champagne for toasting. A ceremony was performed in front of a teepee. We hung out after dark for some star gazing and fun. Nipton is actually a great spot to view the milky way. It was a little too cloudy and bright for us to spot it, but we did get some cool shots with stars.
