Loved working on this Arts District Wedding in Las Vegas. Brendan & Becky came out to vegas all by themselves to elope. They are having a reception back home this month. Originally they wanted to do their session downtown near Freemont Street. The Life Is Beautiful festival was happening which meant that most of the area was blocked off. The crowds and noise was also a bit of an issue so thankfully the couple decided to go somewhere else. The most similar look of a spot is the Arts District. Just about 5-10 minutes away from Freemont, the arts district is much quieter and still just as cool.
Typically, people like to choose locations that they have seen work from before. I have been shooting a lot downtown near Freemont and I do love it, but it can be challenging to look at a location in a different way each time. I am so glad that we went to a spot I haven’t shot at in awhile. I really love the shots that we got. Brendan and Becky’s classic formal attire was such a great contrast with the grungy environment of the arts district.
