Today I am sharing this Punk Rock Museum Wedding of Bill & Pamela. This wedding wasn’t originally supposed to happen at this museum, but they came through and saved the day.
Rain isn’t usually a huge issue in Vegas, but it does sometimes rain and sometimes that rain lasts all day. Many venues will still hold the ceremony either with umbrellas or moved into an indoor space. However, the Neon Museum does not have an indoor space. I have been to some weddings in the rain at the museum, but when it rains really hard and for very long, there is a water moat that happens and it is basically unusable. So, regrettably the neon museum had to cancel the wedding. Bill and Pamela scrambled and were able to secure the Punk Rock Museum with a few hours notice.
Their Story:
“Their first date was a 3-hour walk through Greenwich Village filled with laughter and food and lively conversation. They’ve built a life full of art and whimsy and love together and designed the entire wedding weekend to reflect that life.”
We started off together in their hotel room suite. Even with all of the stress from earlier in the day trying to get a new venue, they showed up in great spirits. After getting dressed, Bill presented Pamela with her wedding gift, a first edition of Alice in Wonderland. It was a pretty epic gift.
Everyone headed to the Punk Rock Museum for the ceremony. After the ceremony we took some photos outside the grounds. Next we all headed to their reception at Mid Century Manor. They had beautiful tables set and everyone enjoyed a fantastic dinner and drinks.
