Today I am sharing the beautifully intimate wedding ceremony and photo shoot from Cheri & Kent’s wedding day at the North Lot of the Neon Museum. We started with a ceremony in front of the large neon letters in the lot. After the ceremony, we wandered around for portraits. Cheri & Kent were so happy and full of love and made my job so easy.
Their story as told by the groom:
“Our story starts with a mutual love for queso and chips. We met online, but after a few days of trading messages and chatting on the phone, we realized we wanted to meet face-to-face. We are both fanatics of Mexican food, so we decided to meet at La Loma, a Mexican restaurant in Denver. What started out with a conversation over a bowl of chips and queso blossomed into an ongoing love affair.
Since then, we’ve spent nearly every weekend exploring Colorado together. In fact, we’ve explored a number of states in the U.S.—and now we’re world travelers as well, having trekked to Mexico, Honduras, Belize, and the United Kingdom. We look forward to a lifetime of discovering new places hand in hand.
That’s not to say it’s always been easy. We’ve been through trials and losses throughout our relationship. But those challenges have only made us stronger together. We were there for each other during some dark times—and we faced them with humor and love.
When we realized that there was no one else on earth either of us would rather be with, we decided to get married. But we don’t see our wedding as a final destination—it is merely the next stop in this grand adventure of ours. We can’t wait to see what comes next!”
