” We have been together for 8 years. Elgar sent me a message at LinkedIn after we met in a bar. He did not have other social media back then. Spent lovely years in the Netherlands, where we are from. Had kids, moved to Denmark for Elgar his work. Thought about marrying then but had no rush. Moved to Houston in July for same company and decided not being married feels like something is missing, especially in a foreign country where you know little people and it’s just really us. No theme, no romantic proposal, just deciding it is about darn time. “

Such a great story and so perfectly uniquely them.

Jill contacted me just a few weeks before their wedding about doing some photos. They would be coming out to Vegas and wanted to have pictures taken at the Neon Museum. It was just them and their twin boys.

Next, we headed to downtown to finish up our shoot among the murals and city lights. Unfortunately, one of the boys wasn’t feeling well and had a fever. So, we spent most of our time downtown in a parking lot. The boys sat in comfortable air conditioning in the SUV. The last group of these pictures was taken in that parking lot and you can’t even tell.

I just loved creating these beautiful memories for Jill, Elgar, and family. The moments with her little boy are some of my favorites. Having a son, and knowing that special bond, makes the images really speak to me.
