Elaina & Calving contacted me about Getting Married At The Neon Museum earlier this year. The Neon Museum is one of my favorite Las Vegas wedding venues, so I am always excited for them. To make things even more special, they chose New Years Eve as their wedding date. Now they will have two reasons to party every year.

Their story as told by the bride:

We met from work. I did paperwork for my dad’s company. He was a new hired contractor and I was to help him get all of his documentation in order to start work.

He surprised me and the rest of the company when he asked the boss’s daughter out! (Me) He had some big balls, and I liked that! Things moved fast. We moved in together, I met his kids, took a big family vacation, bought a house together and got engaged all within the year of 2018 and we get to top it off with our wedding. 18 is our lucky number, for real.

We decided on Vegas because the brides grandparents got married in Vegas on New Years Day. So we figured New Years would be perfect!

My family is from Montana and his family is from Oklahoma… we agreed a small US destination wedding to bring everyone together will suite us just fine. PLUS, who WOULDN’T want to go to Vegas for New Year’s Eve?! “

The day started off with all the ladies getting ready in Elaina’s room at the Aria. The sky suites are a favorite, with floor to ceiling windows, its a beautiful bridal suite. Once Elaina was ready to go, we all headed to the Neon Museum for their ceremony.

It was actually pretty freezing cold and a bit windy. During the ceremony it warmed up a bit and the wind died down just in time for photos.
