Today I am sharing this Anniversary Photo shoot at the neon museum in Las Vegas. Courtney & David had a great idea of doing a photo shoot for their 10 year vow renewal.

Courtney & David put on their same wedding clothes from 10 years before. They booked the Neon Museum for a photo session during their trip.

Courtney’s goal is to take photos in her dress every decade! What a great idea. I wish I could still fit into my wedding dress.

These two were a lot of fun and definitely added some of their silly playful personalities to the shoot.

Today’s Vegas Desert Boho Elopement shoot is of Christine & Jake.  This shoot actually took place 2 days after their wedding.  Their wedding can be viewed here.  Christine wanted some fun moody desert portraits on her actual wedding day, but time did not permit.

Most desert areas in town are on the outskirts and take a minimum of 30 minutes to drive to.  So, an hour of driving back and forth plus at least 30 minutes of shoot time, can make it difficult to fit into a wedding schedule.

Christine and Jake got dressed up again in their wedding attire and Christine had her glam done just like on her wedding day.  We met up at a desert spot with some cacti and mountains for a relaxed session.

The bride’s lace form fitting gown and long lace embellished veil were the perfect match for the desert.  A little bit of a boho vibe always works in a desert setting and I am a big fan of Christine’s tattoos.

I really had the greatest time photographing these two and getting to know them.  I love the way Jake looks at Christine and is always making sure she is ok.  I also love the way Christine looks at Jake and how she raises her arms up in the air to give him a hug.

Vegas Desert Boho Elopement

Today I am sharing the 3rd and final photo shoot with Bethany & Thomas.  The morning after their wedding day, we met up again for a super fun Trash The Dress session.  Bethany loves painting!  She wanted to incorporate that into their shoot by painting a little something and then having a full on paint war with Thomas.  They got paint everywhere!!  Note to future paint war participants: Bring a towel and some water to wash up after!  Thankfully there was a small stream nearby so they could wash up a little afterwards and change into a fresh pair of clothes.

Bethany & Thomas were tons of fun!  I just love how much thought Bethany put into each of the photo shoots they did. I am amazed that she managed to bring it all out here with her on the plane.  They were such a blast to photograph and after spending 3 days in a row with them I felt like we were buddies.  Congrats you two!!  Your album is going to be EPIC!

Wendy & Jason came out to Las Vegas from Louisiana the week of New Years Eve to get married.  They had their actual legal marriage downtown after getting their marriage liscense.  I met up with them the next day to photograph them for their wedding portraits, kind of like a trash the dress session.  They chose the always awesome Nelson Ghost Town for their location.

Simone & Josh are one of the funnest couples I have had the pleasure of photographing.  They were getting married on a Saturday at the Flamingo.  I met up with them the Thursday before to take some wedding portraits at the iconic Neon Boneyard Museum.  They both wore their stylish wedding day attire and even brought along elvis wigs and glasses.  Simone’s dress had a great gatsby vibe and she wore a jeweled piece that she made to go over her shoulders and neck.  Halfway through our shoot, Josh grew a little tired of the heat, and rolled up his sleeves to expose his awesome tattoos.  They also brought along some gum for a few fun bubble gum pictures.  They were cracking me up the whole time.  Some gum is extremely hard to chew and doesn’t give the best bubbles, unfortunately that is the exact gum they got.  Still not sure who got the biggest bubble but they both tried super hard.

Lidia & Herbert traveled to Las Vegas for their destination wedding all the way from Brazil.  They were married the day before our shoot and I met up with them the following day for a fun portrait session.  We went to Nelson Ghost town in Eldorado Canyon which is full of barns and vintage items as well as beautiful desert scenery.  Herbert rented a Harley and rode it up there and then back downtown where we finished up the session under the neon lights of Freemont street.

Lidia & Herbert brought along their personal vows from the day before.

Herbert has a favorite pair of socks that Lidia thinks should have been thrown away a long time ago.  So, he brought them along to include them in some photos.

Shelby & Rob came to Las Vegas for their 1 year anniversary last week.  Shelby had the fabulous idea of doing an anniversary/trash the dress photo session in Downtown Las Vegas.  We walked around and took photos in front of a lot of the cool art from the Life is Beautiful festival.  Everyone kept telling them congratulations as we walked by thinking that they just got married.

Congratulations on your first anniversary and many more to come!  It was such a pleasure to spend time with you both.

Manuela & Daniel came all the way to Las Vegas from Switzerland to celebrate their one year anniversary.  And what better way to celebrate then by having a photo shoot!  They booked a 4 hour photoshoot so we had lots of time to go to several spots.  We started off at an old train depot, which we actually got asked to leave, so that was cut short.  We then went to the famous Welcome To Las Vegas Sign.  The last two spots we went were the Arts District and downtown Freemont street.  These two look so good in front of the camera, I had such a hard time narrowing down which ones I was going to share on the blog.  Make sure to look all the way at the end to see how they trashed her dress!  They brought lots of fun personal props and bubbles.

This scarf has the name of their favorite band on it.

Manuela and Daniel totally trashed the dress.  Daniel cut off the bottom and she finished it off.  They had a great time cutting it up.

Say Hello to Dave & Cindy.  They were married in Las Vegas a couple weeks ago at a private Villa with some close friends and family.  They traveled here for a destination wedding from their home in Canada.  After their ceremony, we met up in the Arts District for some fun alternative wedding portraits.  We walked around to some cool grungey alley ways and some vibrant graffiti walls.  After that, we traveled downtown to Freemont street to grab a few photos in front of the neon lights.

I hope you are enjoying your month long honeymoon in Europe!!
