Thrilled to be sharing this Vegas Elopement With Tattoos from Tessa & Ethan’s big day.

These two best friends eloped in Vegas this July. They wanted it to be easy and stress free so they chose one of my elopement packages with a planner. The lovely Paulina Clute helped plan the perfect day for these two so they could do exactly what they wanted for their wedding day.

We started off at their room at the Cosmo on the strip. Tessa was already ready when I arrived, but we set up a first look on the patio so that Ethan could have a special moment to see his beautiful bride. After a few bites of desert and some white claw, we headed downstairs. Tessa surprised Ethan with a pink Cadillac to drive them to the ceremony location. He had no idea and you could see the pure joy on his face.

We all headed down to a mural in the downtown area for their ceremony. The ceremony was so special and had me and the girls almost in tears. We took some photos in the area afterwards. Lastly we headed to Downtown Tattoo. Tessa & Ethan both got tattoos on their wedding ring fingers to finish up the day. I am not sure where they went afterwards, but I know they had a good time. These two were so much fun and I loved to witness their love.

Super stoked to be sharing this Colorful Las Vegas Elopement today. With everything going on in the world right now, it was so great to escape it all by editing this super fun elopement.

Q & Jack headed to vegas from Seattle, just the two of them, for a pretty fun day of wedding fun. They booked 4 hours of coverage so I got to follow them around, ride in the limo, and capture so many portions of the day.

Their Story

Here is their story as told by Q:

” Jack and I met years ago through our ex-spouses. Little did we know how quickly we’d fall for each other, but once we realized the other was also drawn to irreverence and mischief we began the long fall.

We were cautious about how we approached our relationship, both going through a divorce. 10 years, a child, and a house ownership later, we figured it was time to get married and legitimize our spawn.

The proposal was… characteristically weird. Like all things, it didn’t follow a “normal” path. Jack proposed to me in our therapist’s office during a session. Jack says he knew the proposal–like most of our relationship–was going to be odd so decided to “lean into it”. Bonus: we got the session for free.

For the ceremony, it was important to us to do something for US, and a cheesy Vegas wedding was on each of our bucket lists. How often does one get married after all? …two, three…well, not that often. Jack and I have always had the most amount of fun together, and in recent years having a child has meant less time to play and be children together. For our wedding, we opted to leave our daughter at home and luxuriate in kid-free time. “

“The dress was specially made, inspired by 50’s fashion, specifically the romper. We wanted it to be fun, and something I would wear again. The designer, Kim, of Kimmi Designs, is eco conscious and specializes in up-cycled fabrics.

Because we’re eloping, we didn’t invite anybody to the ceremony, not even our daughter, Quorra. It is important to us that she is still there in some way. Because Quorra means “heart” in Italian, both of us will wear heart objects on our wedding day. I’ll have heart stud earrings in my 2nd ear piercing; Jack will have Queen of Heart cufflinks.

Our rings were specially made by a Seattle jeweler, Lori of LoLiDe Jewelry, who worked with us to do a rush order. It was really important for us not to go with a “big-box” jeweler, but to instead support a local business with a cool sense of style that spoke to us. https://www.lolide.com/ “

The day was so much fun. I loved how relaxed yet excited they both were and how much love they have for each other. Since they married on leap day, the chapel was so full and there was a bit of a delay. Q loved seeing all the other brides and even though it was just us for most of the day, it added a pretty cool element of togetherness.

Today’s real wedding feature is the Gothic Vegas Wedding of River & Raven. Such a fashionable couple!

River had mentioned in their questionnaire ” Raven will be wearing black glittery jacket with glittery makeup. River will be wearing more gothic style clothing and makeup.” After reading that I was so excited to see them and their attire for their wedding. It was more then I could have imagined.

Raven wore a black glittery Balmain jacket with silver metallic pants that flared out on the sides. River wore an amazing jeweled crown with lace, studded shoes, and the coolest metal shoulder accessories I have ever seen. People kept asking them where they were from, like their clothing made them from some exotic land far away. But these two live in Texas.

I met up with them in their hotel room at the Wynn. After getting dressed, we did a few photos with their cake. They had an amazing pink and floral cake that was the perfect juxtaposition to their dark clothing. They brought cute heart sparkler toppers for their cake as well.

We spent some time walking around in front of their hotel and then heading to the pipe sculpture at Symphony park before heading to our final destination downtown.

River & Raven had their ceremony inside the Little Neon Chapel which is right off of Freemont street downtown.

So excited to share this Neon Museum Wedding Pictures session with everyone. Karolina & Cory traveled out to Vegas in an RV with their 5 dogs to get married. They had an intimate wedding a few days before our actual shoot.

Refreshed and finished with their celebrations, the newlyweds met up with me at the Neon Museum for some wedding pictures. We had a great time. I could have photographed these two all day.

I shot more dress twirling pictures then ever before and I am not mad about it at all. Karolina just knows how to move so well it looks so beautiful on camera.

Karolina brought a few additional outfit pieces. She had a gold glittered veil which went so well with her dress. She knew I loved veils and I am so glad she brought one.

After the Neon Museum, we headed downtown for some art mural smoke bomb photos. I do not typically recommend doing smoke bombs in the city limits. I am always a bit scared of getting in trouble for it. But, sometimes you just have to do it anyway and do it quick. I choose areas with no risk of fire and am super safe about it.

After a few shots with the murals I thought of a big white building I knew down the road. Sometimes too much in the background is distracting, especially with smoke. So, we headed down to the arts district for some final shots.

Today I am sharing this Sahara Hotel Wedding at the Alexandria Pool.

Donna & Brad’s Story:

” We’re a fun loving couple from Australia who met on a dancefloor, and haven’t stopped dancing since. So what better place to get hitched than in Las Vegas! We travel around the world every year seeking out the endless tan and enjoy a drink probably too much. But life is here to live! “

This wedding day was so much fun. We started off setting up a first look at the Mirage for Donna & Brad. They really wanted to make sure to have time for photos, so we did all of this before the ceremony. After the first look we headed downtown. We spent a little over an hour downtown taking photos around Freemont Street. We even had time to grab a drink and “play” some slots.

The Ceremony & Wedding

The actual ceremony and wedding reception was held at the Sahara Hotel in the Alexandria Pool. The Sahara has been through quite a few name changes. Previously, it was called the Sahara. Then, it changed to the SLS. Now, it is back to the Sahara again.

The ceremony was held in the same place as the reception. On an outdoor patio style pool deck with modern decor. With some views and a large space to hold both the ceremony, dinner, and dancing.

The reception was one of the funnest I have been to recently. They provided the kids with little gift packs that had streamer wands and plenty of things to keep them happy and make for cool photos. They had a few floats for the pool, which the kids ended up dragging all over the dance floor and one even popped before the night was over.

Had such a great time doing Shea & Jeff’s Las Vegas Engagement Photography.

Shea & Jeff live in Iowa. They came out to Vegas for their wedding. I met up with them a few days before, to take some engagement type photos. It was sort of a pre-wedding / engagement type session.

Shea loved all the art murals downtown, so we walked around and captured them among the art. We also did some photos in front of the El Cortez.

I often take pictures outside of the Downtowner Motel. The manager was there and came outside to let us know we could come in and take some around the property. Super fun to get some new angles that are not normally available.

Thrilled to share this Little White Chapel Wedding Las Vegas today.

Their Story

” Adam and I met ten years ago at a mutual friend’s birthday party. We started the party with a little flirting and ended it with a little smooching. I gave him my phone number and he called me for a date the next day and again the day after that.

A couple months later my cat Sauerkraut was commingling with Adam’s dog Jäger and cat Meow Meow. Shortly after, I moved out of my city studio apartment and into his suburban bungalow. Along the way we added another dog (Hammy) and a giant orange tabby (Crunchy).

Five years ago Adam proposed to me at a petting zoo. It was perfect until a goat almost ate my engagement ring. After we got engaged, we packed up our four legged crew and moved to the beautiful river town of Stillwater, Minnesota. We bought a hundred and thirty-five year old folk Victorian with loads of potential. Little did we know, it was dripping with charm because it was hemorrhaging money!

Our elopement plans took a back burner to renovation dreams/nightmares. We are now in the position where we no longer fear a strong gust will blow our house down, so we are taking the plunge. We have enjoyed doing the Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell thing but are ready to give married life a go.

Side note, I’ve always wanted to get married at the Little White Chapel because that was the site of Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward’s nuptials. I’m so lucky to have found a man that is willing to go along for the ride. “

The Wedding Day

I had such a great time with these two. We took photos at the Neon Museum as well as Freemont Street. They paid the extra fee so that I could also photograph their chapel wedding at the Little White Chapel. Elvis officiated and it was definitely entertaining.

Elvis kept flirting with Erin and jokingly pushing Adam away. They were thinking he probably did that with everyone, but I kind of think he really had a thing for Erin 😉

Holy moly guys, I just cannot get enough of this Badass Las Vegas Elopement Photography. Dennae & Clint were such a blast to photograph.

Here is their story:

” Clint ; Years before we hooked up, I remember us being serious when we both said we were NEVER GETTING MARRIED and laughing about it. Turns out we were only kidding ourselves and it would be the 2 of us that were to marry one another.

We were kinda seeing each other back then but our lives were in too different directions for us to consider ever being serious at the time. We never strayed too far and remained great friends, ever heard the saying “if you let it go and it comes back”?

I love those stories, the full circle moments and that is what happened with us! I couldn’t admit to anyone, let alone myself how much I loved Dennae and her free spirit soul. She’s such an intelligent woman, a beautiful mother to her daughter Sienna, has great morals and a loving nature.. She also has this wild side and killer character, a kid at heart just like me.

A few years go by, some life experience and I finally realize that she is the one. We have accomplished so much in our time together, we really bring out the best in each other.

We may be coming to Vegas to get married but our next great adventure will be spending a lifetime together and everything that comes with it! I wanna grow old with you baby blue, let’s go!!! xxx

Dennae; Music, I think is such a huge part of our relationship! We first met at a music festival in Brisbane called Soundwave. I had seen him walking past and called out to him by the wrong name!!! hahaha. Luckily he stopped and we got chatting and danced the afternoon away and started hanging out together not long after.

Clint is a super talented musician and for me that was so attractive and I quickly became his biggest fan 🙂 I honestly know that live music is something we will enjoy together forever.

I must say that from the get go I knew Clint was someone special, he is a true gentleman and romantic and in this day and age that is not so common. He isn’t afraid to tell the people he loves how he feels and his passion for life is contagious as hell!! He is spontaneous and up for anything and I am much the same, our relationship is full of fun and excitement so I guess Vegas is the perfect fit for us.

It’s you. It’s been you for as long as I can remember Everyone else has been just a failed attempt at perfecting the art of pretending you’re not.. Xxxx “

So I am sure you can tell by their story just how amazing and in love these two are. The basics of the day are that I met them after their ceremony at Graceland Chapel. We took some photos outside and then headed downtown. Lucky for us, Life Is Beautiful was about to happen, so many of the streets were blocked off. This allowed us to walk in the streets and get all those perfect angles and shots with little to no people in the background. There was just enough wind to make Dennae’s veil dance in the wind.

I gave basic direction on where and what to do, but they added so much of their personalities in. Clint was always doing something cool with his hands and just being his fun authentic self and loving the shit out of Dennae the whole time.

So excited to share this Tattooed Vegas Wedding Photography session with Kristy & Jamie.

Here is their story as told by the bride:

” After almost 12 years of dating, Jamie proposed to me on a trip to Las Vegas in the summer of 2018. We knew right away wanted to have our wedding in Las Vegas as it’s a place that’s near and dear to my heart, almost a second home. We travel to Vegas often and have so many fond memories here. We thought, where better to bring our loved ones than one of our most favorite and nostalgic places and we hope they fall in love with it just as we have. We chose the iconic Flamingo hotel and casino as our venue for both the reception and ceremony. Choosing the neon museum as our main photography site was a no brainer as it’s full of the rich history Vegas has to its name and we absolutely love the glamour of the lights. VIVA LAS VEGAS! “

I had such a great time hanging out with these two at the Neon Museum first, and then ending downtown in the urban parts of the city. Kristy has some amazing tattoos, I especially love the Alfred Hitchcock one on her leg. Kristy also added the detail to the back of her dress which looked amazing.
