Say hello to Alexis & Chris.  Alexis contacted me about photographing her and Chris for their 1 year anniversary.  The two of them live in California but eloped to Las Vegas a year ago.  They returned to Vegas to celebrate their one year anniversary and set up a photo shoot to commemorate it.  They were staying downtown so the Freemont East district was the perfect edgy location for their photos.  The two of them had the perfect mix of kick assery and sweet happy loving moments.  Alexis looked like a total babe with a short white dress and her tattoos in all of their glory. Next time your in town guys, lets do it again 😉

Alyssa & Erik were coming to town to get married and wanted to do a engagement style shoot a few nights before their wedding in the downtown area near Freemont Street in Las Vegas.  I was super excited to meet these two before I photographed their wedding and I knew we would be a great match.  Erik & Alyssa both have a bunch of tattoos and that rock n roll style which always is a huge inspiration to me.  We walked around for an hour and we got a bunch of great pictures.  In a few days I will be sharing their wedding day and you definitely don’t want to miss that.

These two are pretty much the cutest!  I love their big smiles and how great they love each other.

I am thrilled to be sharing Emily & Glen’s wedding with everyone today.  Emily & Glen live in Australia.  They traveled all the way to Las Vegas to be married at the Graceland Chapel by the King himself, Elvis.  (Glen’s last name is King 😉 ) I met up with the awesome couple after they said their I do’s in the artsy area of Freemont Street east.  The urban artistic area fit perfectly with their rockabilly/vintage wedding theme.  Just in love with all of their tattoos and I swear that the red lipstick Emily wore was made just for her.

Wow, I just realized that I have not blogged in a month!  Sorry about that, I have taken on less weddings this summer because it is so hot and I have also had a few I wasn’t allowed to share.  This amazing wedding I just shot I am allowed to share thankfully.

Tasha & Martin live in Australia.  Them and their closest friends and family traveled out to Las Vegas for their amazing destination wedding.  We started off the day at Tasha’s hotel room at the Flamingo.  Her mother helped her into her vintage 40’s style dress that Tasha made with the help of her mother and sister in law.  It looked amazing on her and fit the rest of her vintage details perfectly.

Next everyone headed to the oldest Tiki bar in Las Vegas, Frankies Tiki Bar.  Tasha & Martin found the bar while looking for locations online.  It was a very cool, very dark, intimate bar which was perfect for their intimate wedding.  The wedding was officiated by none other than the king himself Elvis.

The bridesmaids had amazing vintage style floral dresses and the groomsmen wore retro Ben Sherman shirts with blue pants.

Tasha’s dad had my favorite shirt of the day, a tropical shirt with skulls on it!!

After some drinks at the Tiki Bar, Tasha, Martin, and I headed over to the Neon Museum for portraits of just the two of them.  I could have photographed them all day!  Tasha’s bright pink hair and bright and colorful tattoos were so much fun.

We parted ways after the shoot while the reception got started at the Peppermill restaurant down the road.

Tasha & Martin I am so honored to have been your photographer.  I hope that the two of you have the most amazing time on your backpacking trip through South America!!

Elina & Harri worked together way back in 2009 but didn’t really connect until some time later after a night of drinking at a local club.  Since then, Harri moved in with Elina and her daughter and they had a daughter of their own 2 years ago.  They decided to have their wedding in Las Vegas because they wanted it to be unforgettable, different, and all about the two of them.  Since they live in Finland, Las Vegas definitely fulfilled their wishes.

I met up with the beautiful couple after their ceremony in the downtown Freemont East area.  The colorful art murals totally fit their style.

I am so in love with these series of photos.  I told Harri to hug Elina and this is how he hugged her.  So perfect!  I told them I love the way you hug!  They probably thought I was a dork but seriously, some people just fit together like magic.

I am excited to share this super hot couple’s wedding day photos today.  Savanna & Alex live in San Diego and decided to have their intimate wedding in Las Vegas.  I met up with them on the strip a few hours before their actual ceremony to do a portrait session.  We walked around to several of the hotels before finishing up at Caesars Palace for the wedding.  They had a in suite reception afterwards.

Savanna looked amazing in her open back dress showing off her enviable muscles and an awesome painted temporary gold tattoo on her back.  Alex and Savanna actually have special tattoos for each other on their hands, hers saying her new name Mrs Rehm and his saying Savanna.  Alex also has a portrait of Savanna tattooed on her hand.  These two totally rocked their shoot and look like models.

Meet the beautiful Tabitha and her new husband Eric.  They traveled to Las Vegas for their destination wedding all the way from Canada.  They both got ready in their rooms at the Hard Rock Hotel.  We then set up a romantic first look for the two of them just outside the hotel.  After portraits we headed out to The Grove for their intimate ceremony.  They had a casual reception at the House of Blues.

Tabitha’s hair and makeup looked flawless and I loved all of her bright colorful tattoos.  Her amazing dress was by Essence of Australia and her amazing tattoo inspired shoes were by Pinup Couture.  The brides maids looked very vintage and rockabilly in their red and white polka dot dresses.

Tabitha & Eric have been together for 9 years.  They are a military couple who met online.  They lived 9 hours apart from each other and had set up a weekend together in a mutual meeting place when they first started talking.  After that, they spent 4 months in along distance relationship before Tabitha quit her job and moved in with him.  Tabitha’s dad was not a huge fan of Eric taking her away from home but after 9 years her dad couldn’t be happier for them.  They chose Vegas to get married because nobody remembers your decorations but they do remember how much fun they had.

I am super excited to share Stephani & Todd’s amazing wedding day with everyone.  This amazing couple lives in San Diego and chose Las Vegas for their destination wedding.  They wanted a location that was fun and easy to get to for their friends and family.  They chose a large rental home to hold their wedding as well as a weekend full of fun.  They filled the home with as many people as possible to share in the weekend festivities.  All of their friends were extremely helpful in getting the wedding set up.  The decorations, flowers, and more, were all pretty much DIY and lots of people pitched in with their talents to make bouquets, decorate the yard, cook food, and more.  The backyard was the perfect setting for their 80 person wedding, complete with a tree house, pool, stable, trampoline, swing set, and more.  They even brought their cat along and he posed for a few photos with us.

Stephani’s friend did her hair and makeup and she looked stunning in her form fitting lace overlay vintage style gown.  Todd matched well with his suspenders, bow tie, and his sleeves rolled up to show off his tattoos and provide a little relief from the heat.  We set up a first look before the ceremony in the yard of the home.  After the first look we took some family photos and then got ready for the ceremony.  A friend of their’s officiated the wedding and she looked amazing with her modern day Elvis inspired outfit.  Stephani & Todd walked down the aisle together and were full of smiles the whole way down.  The trampoline was on the path of the aisle and they jumped off after the ceremony was complete.

The backyard was set up with a tent and bistro lights across the tops.  The tables were decorated with various glass vases and bottles that Stephani’s grandmother had collected.  The food was provided by Poppa Napp’s bbq and even the Sno Ono Shaved Ice truck came for a special treat.  There were many special toasts as well as a special video that Todd made to show at the reception.  The night ended with lots of singing and dancing and it was clear that everyone had a great time.

Hannah & Mark were married last week in Las Vegas.  They traveled from the UK for their destination wedding with a few friends and family.  I met up with them directly after their chapel ceremony downtown on the Freemont Street area.  We walked around some of the casinos and also to all of the art murals on Freemont Street East.

Hannah & Mark were an absolute dream to photograph.  Such a happy, fun, loving, and extremely stylish couple.  Hannah looked absolutely amazing in a tea length vintage style dress with lace overlay.  Her red hair and bright red lips looked amazing and look at those Christian Louboutin’s!!  To top it all off, Mark bought her some Charlotte Olympia Cat Flats in red as a wedding gift and of course she brought them along.  Hannah’s pink flamingo purse was also pretty amazing.  Mark’s suit, shoes, and mustache cuff links were the perfect compliment to Hannah’s fabulous attire.  I could have seriously photographed the two of them all day.

I met up with the beautiful Stephanie and her fiance Todd last weekend in DTLV, Downtown Las Vegas, for their engagement session.  Stephanie and Todd live in San Diego and came out to Vegas to work on some wedding stuff over the weekend.  Stephanie had her hair and makeup trial, the perfect day to also schedule your engagement photos, earlier in the day.  I met up with them for our photo shoot in the afternoon and we walked around to the various Vegas lights and artsy spots.

We talked a little about their bachelor and bachelorette parties coming up.  Todd is going to Reno and Lake Tahoe and Stephanie is going to Arizona and taking a rafting trip on a salt river.  Sounds so much more fun then a night in Vegas, that’s for sure.  I cannot wait to photograph their wedding this June.  I can tell it is going to be pretty unforgettable.
