Hey everyone!  So, I get asked often how I provide final images.  I am going to explain what I currently offer and how I think it will change in the near future.

So, currently I offer a choice to all portrait and wedding clients.  Everyone will get an online gallery.  The gallery is great and can be shared with friends and family and images can be downloaded from it.  The standard gallery everyone gets allows you to download individual images one at a time.  Then, I offer an upgraded version of that gallery or a USB.  The upgraded version of the gallery allows you to download all images at one time.  Once all the images have been posted to the standard online gallery, I ask my clients what they choose for their final product.

Both choices are great and I love the online gallery especially for sharing with others.  It stays online for 10 years and it is nice that you don’t have to worry about losing anything that contains the images.  However, I am a sucker for the tangible and I do feel a little weird when I don’t give my clients anything they can touch.  So, I think I am going to just start offering both a USB and online gallery with all wedding packages and standard portrait sessions.

(Currently, mini sessions and short or discounted sessions only receive an online gallery)

I get these awesome personalized USB’s from USB Memory Direct.  I am currently using the Fiber Wood Tower series.  I like that they are made from sustainable resources and mostly all natural (Excluding the metal parts of course).  They work great and look great and I just love giving them to clients.

As far as the changes I made, I changed my biggest package to include an album and the disc of images.  This is what you get:

If I was to recommend what you should purchase after a session, this would be it.  A large canvas for the wall which is like a piece of art for everyone to enjoy.  An album and a disc of all the edited images from your session.  So many people go through all of the time to get ready for and take part in a special photo session only to purchase a disc of images that just sit on your desk and never get ordered or viewed.  You invest so much in the session itself, you should do the same for the finished product.

I am offering 3 super cool shapes and designs.  The cards are the actual shape shown, the white border is just to help make the outline show up better.  They come with envelopes as well.  Depending on the design, the cards are either 5×5 or 5×7 in size.

They are sold in packs of 25 for $60.

They can be printed on regular paper or pearl paper which is my favorite, it shimmers like a pearl.

I finally got my 1st album sample and it is so gorgeous you wouldn’t beleive.  This is my premium top of the line album that I am offering.  It is super big, 18×14, and its amazing.  I have included an image of the book with a cd below to give you an idea of the size.  This is a handmade album crafted in Italy.  I selected the crystal glance cover which has an image under a hard plexiglass like cover.  It is a 60 page album with thick pages.  It lays completely flat no matter what page you are on.

5x7 Card

I just ordered my first set of marketing materials from Simply Color Lab and I am very impressed.  All of the products I ordered I chose the Pearlized silver paper and man its gorgeous.  I tried to show in the picture below, but umm you totally cannot tell.

It is amazing and I cannot wait to order some prints on it.  The cool thing about the lab is they offer packages so you can get a huge savings with a variety of products.  So, I got the 5×7 card above for portrait work.  Its kinda just like a big fancy business card.  I also recieved stickers on the bottom left and a goregous business card, front and back shown.  I will tell you, black and white looks amazing on this paper.  It gives it a silvery metal look.

Last but not least I ordered a wonderful 5×5 trifold for my wedding clients.  Same paper, same gorgeousness.
