If you follow me on Facebook and Instagram you already probably know this, but for those that don’t, I had a wedding featured in Rock N Roll Bride Magazine!!!  This has been a dream of mine for some time.  On my vision board I have a photo posted that I wanted to be featured on the cover, but this is pretty dang close.  Getting featured on blogs and in magazines is a difficult thing at times.  It has to be the perfect mix of good photography and a great couple with inspiring details that others want to see.

So check out the feature below.  I am showing the cover of the magazine but that picture is not mine.

I just snapped these on my phone real quick because if I had to wait to actually take out the big girl camera, it would have taken much longer to post this.

I honestly couldn’t be more excited to have my work shown in this amazing magazine and that I get to photograph the most wonderful and amazing people.

Most of my brides have been from out of town or even out of the country.  It was so much fun to have a couple that lives in Las Vegas that I could meet with and keep in touch with.  Their wedding was a blast and is slated to be featured soon.

You might remember this pirate themed wedding which I shared on the last features post, well it was so fantastic it was featured again on A blogging Bride which can be viewed here.

Aurora & Gerardo are another local Las Vegas couple who I had the pleasure of photographing for their engagement.  This shoot was featured on Savvy Deets Bridal and can be viewed here.  The original blog post can be viewed here.

Since then I had the honor of photographing Aurora’s bridal pictures and their civil ceremony.

Nita & Jay’s destination wedding was featured on The East Coast Bride’s blog since they are originally from New Jersey, it can be viewed here.  The original blog post can be viewed here.

This fun wedding took place all over Las Vegas with a trip down the strip on an open roofed double decker bus.

After their ceremony we had over an hour to head down to the arts district for portraits, so much fun.

Krista & Joe actually won a contest with me for this engagement session.  It was featured on Urban Style blog and can be viewed here.  The original blog post can be viewed here.

One of the stipulations for winning this contest was that I got to pick the first spot for the shoot.  I had my eye on a nearby abandoned house that looked just perfect for a shoot and it was.

Brianna & Anthony’s music inspired wedding was featured on Poptastic Bride here.  The original blog post can be viewed here.

Not only was the couple absolutely gorgeous, but all of the details were beautiful as well and the reception venue was perfect.

Brooke & Forrest’s local backyard wedding was featured on Wed Loft here.  The original blog post can be viewed here.

This wedding was held in Brooke’s parent’s backyard in Las Vegas and was amazing.  It was an early brunch reception with some of the best food I have had.

Typically most features are engagements, trash the dress, and wedding photos.  There are tons of inspirational blogs out there dedicated to all those brides looking for a bit of inspiration for their big day.  It is always an honor to have my work shared on another blog and I know it isn’t just my photos that make it happen.  My fun, beautiful, unique clients are what people like to see.

Liz & Erik’s pirate themed wedding was featured here on offbeat bride.  The original post can be viewed here.

This feature was one that I was super excited about.  I had always wanted to have work shown on the Offbeat Bride website because it pretty much embodies my favorite types of clients to work with.  Offbeat, alternative, etc.

This next feature was from a super fun bachelorette part which was featured on A Paper Proposal here.  The original blog post can be viewed here.

This was a super fun glam bachelorette party here in Las Vegas.  One of my favorite parts was the mustache props that the girls used in a bunch of their photos.

This intimate elopement at Nelson was featured on Want That Wedding here.  The original blog post can be viewed here.

Marianna & Todd’s intimate ceremony at Nelson was actually the first time I photographed a ceremony at the awesome ghost town.

Anna & Roman’s wedding was featured on Borrowed And Bleu here.  The original blog post can be viewed here.

Anna & Roman were also married at Nelson.  After their wedding we went to a few other cool places around town, Lake Las Vegas, The Welcome to Las Vegas sign, and then we ended downtown on freemont street.

Stephanie & Derek’s downtown Las Vegas engagement session was featured on Engaged Wedding blog here.  The original post can be viewed here.

This session was super fun and we went to some of my favorite places to photograph downtown, back alleys, grungey walls, and lots of other cool urban spots.

The gorgeous wedding of Johana & Travis was featured on Wed Loft which can be viewed here.  This feature was a combination of a pre-wedding session shown here and the actual wedding day shown here.

This wedding took place on a yacht, definitely not your typical vegas location.

This is all I will be sharing for now but I have another blog post lined up with the rest of the features I haven’t shown.  Next time I don’t think I will wait this long :/

I was contacted by an editor of To & From Magazine, an online travel and lifestyle magazine, to contribute to their Love issue.  I was super excited since this would be the first time any of my work had been featured in anything besides another blog or website.  I was able to share 6 of my favorite locations in Las Vegas for a wedding along with pictures from weddings held at each.  In the issue, the feature is 20 pages or 10 spreads.

The feature starts on page 101.  I am also shown as a contributor on one of the first few pages along with a list of a few of my favorite things.

I am so thankful for all of my super awesome couples who love something a little non traditional in their wedding photos.  They are all so inspiring and keep things exciting and  new all the time.

Feature #2

Erin & Jonathan’s fun wedding shoot  which was originally blogged here was featured on the super cute Bowties And Bliss website.

I knew this session would be a perfect fit for the site with their awesome apparel and his bowtie of course.  I loved this couple, they were so much fun, and I got to do my first solo session at the Neon Boneyard!

Emily & Jon’s wedding ceremony took place on the balcony of a terrace suite at the MGM which is a great place for a destination wedding.

This was one of my favorite wedding day sessions ever!
