Today I am sharing this Downtown Vegas Engagement Photography session of Jennifer & Max.  The couple had their wedding scheduled at Lake Las Vegas which would prevent any downtown photos during their wedding due to logistics and distance.  They had the great idea to do their engagement session in a similar style to a Las Vegas Elopement.

Jennifer & Max wore fancy black attire for their engagement photos.  We met at the Little White Chapel for those iconic just married in Vegas style photos.  Next, we headed to downtown Fremont so we could capture pictures with the bright neon lights that downtown has plenty of.

We ended at the Welcome to Vegas sign, which was the perfect ending to the day.

A few things to note.  If you want to take photos at the Little White Chapel in the pink Cadillac you do have to book a 15 minute time slot if you are not getting married in it.  Also, the welcome to Vegas sign is about 20-30 minutes from downtown or more if there is a lot of traffic.  So if you want photos there, it is best to end there so you do not have to account for the time driving back to your next destination.

Gosh it has been a long time since I have blogged.  Happy to start with this Rock N Roll Engagement Photos Downtown Vegas.  I have just been so busy the last year and a half that blogging has taken a back seat in order to get everyone’s images to them in time and also have any time to myself.  I want to blog more though and plan to.

This engagement shoot was one of my favorites.  Steven & Lyndsey came to Vegas from Canada.  They wanted a relaxed, candid, rock n roll vibe engagement shoot with a little cannabis mixed in.  They booked 2 hours, so we had time to walk around downtown, they got to smoke a little weed, and even were able to change into a second outfit.  We also got a few night time shots with the vegas lights.

It was so much fun photographing these two.  I always say, for candid shots, it is best to have something to do.  Pop some champagne, smoke a cigar, smoke a joint, whatever you like.

Downtown Vegas is a lot of fun for engagement photo shoots.  There are bars, fun art murals, old vegas neon lights, and just a fun celebratory vibe.

Happy to be blogging these Engagement Photos At Smith Center. This is the last shoot I did before the lockdown. Since then, I took my son out for some photos but that is it. I was really looking forward to this shoot and glad we were able to pull it off before everything closed. Alexis is the neice of a friend of mine. She was actually one of my first assistants as well. She has helped out on a few of my personal shoots and a few others. I don’t often use assistants so I haven’t seen her in awhile.

Alexis & Chase are getting married in October out in Arizona. The theme of their wedding is 1920’s so they chose the Smith Center as the location to go with that vibe. Afterwards we went downtown and used some of the more neutral backdrops for some variety.

I am so happy for these two sweethearts!

Today I am sharing this amazing Neon Museum Anniversary Photo Shoot with Shallon & Rashid. It has been awhile since I have had a chance to blog, sorry about that. This is the perfect shoot to start back up with after the holidays.

Shallon & Rashid took a trip to Vegas to celebrate their anniversary. Besides hanging out at the hotel in pajamas and eating at delicious restaurants, they got all dressed up to take some photos during their visit.

The photo session was booked at the Neon Museum in their north lot for 30 minutes. Since we had some time left over afterwards, we finished up their hour on Freemont street.

I just love Shallon’s black mini dress. She said she worked hard for her booty and wanted to show it off. If I had a body like her I would be wanting to show it off too. The sweetest couple, so glad they found me.

Had such a great time doing Shea & Jeff’s Las Vegas Engagement Photography.

Shea & Jeff live in Iowa. They came out to Vegas for their wedding. I met up with them a few days before, to take some engagement type photos. It was sort of a pre-wedding / engagement type session.

Shea loved all the art murals downtown, so we walked around and captured them among the art. We also did some photos in front of the El Cortez.

I often take pictures outside of the Downtowner Motel. The manager was there and came outside to let us know we could come in and take some around the property. Super fun to get some new angles that are not normally available.

Stoked to share today’s Engagement Photos Dry Lake Bed session. It’s funny, if you look at my last post, it was in this exact same location but looks worlds apart. When this place gets rained on, it turns into a lake.

Michelle & Neil live in Seattle. Their wedding was a few days after this engagement session. We met up at the dry lake bed. When we arrived, it was so windy I could barely open my car door. We drove up the road a bit to get some shield in the mountains.

We were able to get enough of a break from the winds that we could get some photos while they had champagne. Then we embraced the winds and headed back out to the dry lake bed.

With Michelle’s flowy dress and long hair, the wind really add some fun elements of movement to the photos. We tried using some smoke bombs, but wind is the worst for those. They were not too noticeable at all, so we only used a couple.

It was so great to meet them before their actual wedding day. Michelle has the best smile and I can’t look at her without smiling myself. Such an amazing couple and their wedding post will be coming up shortly.

Amabel & Mark contacted me about photographing them for their 15 year anniversary. I can’t believe these two have been married that long, they look like they are fresh out of college.

We had so much fun with this Downtown Vegas Anniversary Photo Shoot. Amabel wore a gold sequin dress and Mark wore a sequin skull shirt with a metallic paisley print jacket. The perfect downtown glam for their photos.

They are big star wars fans and brought some lightsabers. They also brought along some light up neon sunglasses and bowties. Such a fun time walking around downtown after starting at the Neon Museum.

Having a fun photo shoot on your anniversary trip is such a great way to commemorate the occasion and get some new fun pictures of the two of you.

Excited to share this Boulder City Engagement Photography session of Claire & Alex.  Claire & Alex came out to Vegas for their destination wedding all the way from the UK.  They wanted something fun and different for their engagement session.  During their wedding we would be in various locations such as Valley of Fire and downtown.  I suggested the idea of going to Boulder City and luckily they were on board.  They had gone there on their last trip to the states.

Boulder city is a cute little quaint town on your way to Hoover Dam.  It has that small town western feel to it.  Totally gives an American look to their photo shoot.

When I met up with Claire & Alex they had recently arrived and had very little sleep.  I was just starting a nasty cold but we all persevered.  During our walk around downtown we saw lots of cute antique shops and fun backgrounds.  We even saw some humming birds which really blew Alex away.  Apparently hummingbirds are not too common over in the UK, I had no idea.  We walked a lot, laughed a lot, got to know each other a bit, and ended with them practicing their wedding night dance.
